    Coventive composites is part of the NetComposites Group. NetComposites was founded in 2001 with the specific objective of developing and exploiting new composite materials technologies. The company is active in materials development, web-based information services and is also well-known for its insight into emerging technologies in composites, having undertaken studies into the future of the industry for the UK Government, European Commission and private companies.

    Technoplants srl was born in 1984 by founder Marco Gualtieri and became from the beginning a preferred supplier for some well-known local company. In 1990 Claudio Bracali joins the company. He had accumulated a long experience as a designer of mechanical-textile machinery and contributed to the construction of new machinery, which received success both in Italy and abroad. In the middle '90s Technoplants srl discerns the demand for end-of-line machinery which can automate the final transformation processes of non woven products.

    The Industrial Design Engineering Faculty (IDE) at TU Delft is one of the oldest and largest in the world; it has a leading role in the development of the discipline. IDE has a track record in eco-design, hosting a Design for Sustainability research group since the early 1990s and a group on Circular Product Design since 2015.The faculty is regarded as a global leader in the field of design research, with currently more than 100 researchers. Design for sustainability, circular economy and new business models are focal topics of the research at the department.

    Microcab has pioneered the design of lean weight, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles from its base in Coventry, UK, supported by Coventry University, a shareholder in the company. The Microcab team has 12 years experience in the design of hydrogen vehicles, having integrated a range of fuel cells into various new vehicle designs from 2001. All vehicles are specifically designed to improve air quality, with zero emissions at point of use, and be extremely efficient, supporting the global sustainability agenda as resources become more scarce.

    LIPOR – Intermunicipal Waste Management of Greater Porto is responsible for the management, recovery and treatment of the Municipal Waste produced in the eight associated municipalities: Espinho, Gondomar, Maia, Matosinhos, Porto, Póvoa de Varzim, Valongo and Vila do Conde. Lipor was founded in 1982 as a Municipalities Association and it has implemented an integrated waste management, recovered, developed and built infrastructures and organized awareness campaigns for the population.
